When I arrived at the hotel, I was let down by the room they gave me - it had three single beds, a view straight into a wall, and reeked of smoke, with cigarette butts in the bathroom. However, the service at the front desk was excellent; they spoke English and were very helpful. Being close to the famous Jalan Sabang and two historical mosques made the location unique, but the overpowering smell of mould was a major downside.
